Athlone Castle is situated on Castle Street, in Athlone, only 11 minutes from our Great National Creggan Court Hotel.

Opening hours:

• March to May, September and October - Tuesdays to Saturdays: 10:00am to 5:30pm, Sundays 11:00pm to 5:30pm. Last admission 1 hour before closing at 4:00pm. Closed on Mondays.
• June to August – Mondays to Saturdays: 9:30am to 6:00pm, Sundays 10:30pm to 6:00pm. Last admission 1 hour before closing at 5:00pm. Open 7 days a week.
• November to February – Wednesdays to Saturdays: 10:30am to 5:00pm, Sundays 11:30pm to 5:00pm. Last admission 1 hour before closing at 4:00pm. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
